Q. Am I going to find the wool underblanket hot in the summer?
A. No! The huge majority of our customers sleep on the wool side of their underblanket all year round, but in case you do find it too warm, it has been designed so that you can sleep on the quilted cotton side.
Q. These underblankets are expensive compared to others, why?
A. These are quality products; they are made to a standard in New Zealand that has been established for over 30 years. The quality of the stitching and the quality of the wool means that it has genuinely been built to last. When buying an underblanket we recommend you research carefully; not all underblankets are the same!
Q. I have heard that wool is a good alternative to feathers for allergy sufferers- is this true?
A. Most definitely- many allergies are caused by the presence of dustmites. They do not inhabit wool as it does not provide the same damp/humid conditions in which they thrive. Wool really is a healthy option for bedding.
Q. Will the wool fleece feel too hot in the summer?
A. Wool is a naturally breathable material that adjusts to an individual's body temperature, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
